The teaching that the Antichrist will dominate the world and force everyone to receive the 'mark of the beast' before the return of Christ has only become popular and mainstream since the 1970s. Where did this teaching come from and why was church silent about it 1500 years? It transformed from being a new teaching to being the traditional view on end times. Let's examine those traditions in the light history and the bible and realign our thinking to get focussed on what God is doing in the earth today.
